Services:

1. New water service cost for a new home.

There are two fees that must be paid for each new building served by the Bella Vista Water System. The amounts of the fees depend on the plumbing fixtures and water meter size required by the new construction. The Water Capital Buy-in Fee is $3,950, which goes toward improving the water system to meet the needs caused by growth. The Water Tap Fee is $2,067.24 for an average 5/8 x 3/4-inch meter. Larger meter sizes cost more because they can exert a greater demand to the water system. At the same time there will be a fee of $315 for street maintenance and $588.50 for a stump dump fee. The total amount due will be $6,920.74.

2. Installation process for new water service.

There are many steps needed to completely process a new water service application. After the fees are paid, the Arkansas Department of Health requires an approved sewage disposal plan and written documentation that the building’s service line and plumbing were inspected by a certified local plumbing inspector and was found to be in substantial compliance with the State Plumbing Code.
