MEMBERSHIP SERVICES DEPARTMENT
• Working on internal promotional slide show to be shown in Membership Services lobby.
• Began training front counter personnel on back room responsibilities.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
• Continued testing and programming of Web Portal.
• Created new subnets to segregate network traffic.
• Continued work on Citrix upgrade.
• Processed 199 job tickets for service.

ACCOUNTING
• Completed successful audit and received end-of-year financials.
• Working on 2012 personal property assessments.
• Continued training satellite locations on Kwiktag usage.
• Conducted physical inventories at Metfield golf shop, Golf Maintenance, Tanyard Creek, Get~A~Grip, Highlands gun range, Vehicle Maintenance, Riordan Hall, and Office Services.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH
• 982 volunteer hours were logged for the month, did not receive hours from all committees. YTD hours are 1,856.
• Assisted with the Bella Vista Business Fair and the “Becoming a Jedi Webmaster” workshops.
• Planning and preparing for Sparkles volunteer breakfast, several Earth Day events, Paddle in Paradise, and Festival of Trees.

LEGAL DEPARTMENT
• Collected over $54,900 from delinquent accounts.
• Collected over $9,300 from judicial auction.
• Collected over $23,700 from 46 online auctions.
• Set up six new payment arrangements and tracked 201 payment arrangements
• There were no collection lock ups.
• Received five bankruptcy discharges and did three bankruptcy write-offs.

GOLF DIVISION
• Rounds played finished the month at 17,123; 2,599 rounds over budget. For the year, we are 12,429 rounds over budget.
• 73 teams participated in the Spring Three-Person Scramble.
• The crews have been busy doing irrigation repair work, making replacement tee and yardage markers, building water cooler houses, performing bunker drainage work, and aerating greens.
• The Highlands and Country Club golf course fairways were opened up to cart traffic on April 1. The mild winter and spring temperatures allowed the Bermuda grass to green up earlier than expected. Thank you to the members who kept the fairways in good shape by remaining on paths with their carts.
• The cart path under Arkansas Highway 340 at the Country Club golf course has been opened to traffic.
• The new Kingswood pump house is in the process of being built.
• The maintenance staffs are preparing for hybrid Bermuda conversions on the #7 green at Scotsdale golf course and the #8 green at Brittany golf course. The process will start the first week of May, and the greens will be ready for planting by the middle or end of May. The grow-in should take eight to ten weeks after planting.
• Greens #6, #7, and #8 at the Branchwood golf course will be getting a conversion to common Bermuda in May.

MAINTENANCE & CONSTRUCTION DIVISION

GENERAL GROUNDS MAINTENANCE
• Thank you to the volunteers who assisted with the Spring 2012 white goods pickup. Volunteers answered 144 phone calls regarding the pickup and other issues.

GENERAL GROUNDS MAINTENANCE
• Began weekly mowing/trimming schedules at all facilities.
• Completed fertilization of turf areas at all facilities.
• Began post-emergent herbicide treatments to turf areas at all facilities.
• Continued herbicide treatments to all hard surface/landscape beds at all facilities.
• Mulched all large trees in and around the Kingsdale playground.
• Completed softball field renovations at Loch Lomond park.

LAKES AND PARKS/GUN RANGE
Lakes/Parks/Trails

• Completed the barbeque rebuilding project for Blowing Springs.
• Power washed and cleaned all rental boats.
• Completed seasonal repair and tune up of all rental boats.
• Moved all Lake Ann docks back to normal mooring locations.
• Lake rangers made approximately 2,375 contacts during the month.
• Stocked 1,000 catchable rainbow trout in Lake Brittany.
• Began springtime electrofishing fish population samples on all Bella Vista Village lakes.
• Conducted volunteer training for Goose Reproduction Intervention Program (GRIP) and began this year’s Canada Goose egg-oiling project.

Highlands Gun Range
• There were a total of 395 trap and skeet shooters (over $5,800 revenue).
• Completed, designed and installed new shooting guidelines for the pistol range.
• Completed berm work on rifle and pistol range.
• Started reviewing the requirement for building a new trap field on land donated by Cooper.

FACILITIES MAINTENANCE/HVAC
Clubs

• Drained the condensate from the air compressor and sprinkler system at the Yacht Club and Highlands Clubhouse.
Recreation
• Checked all fasteners and power washed the playground equipment at the Kingsdale, Metfield and Branchwood playgrounds.
• Installed the canvas covers on the sun shades at the Kingsdale and Metfield pools.
• De-winterized the Kingsdale and Metfield pools, pavilions and restrooms.
• De-winterized the Kingsdale tennis court’s hydrants and backflow device.
• Cleaned the drain lines around the spa at Branchwood.
• Replaced the slide and climbing pole at the Branchwood playground.
• Removed the old siding and replaced the battens, installed new concrete siding, primed, and painted the new siding at the Kingsdale pool pump room.

Golf

• Drained the condensate from the air compressor and sprinkler system at the Highlands and Kingsdale cart sheds and the Scotsdale golf shop and cart shed.
• Cleaned the sewer drain lines at the Scotsdale #15 halfway house.
• Installed new ice machine for the Scotsdale golf shop.
• Cleaned the sewer drain lines at the Berksdale halfway house.
• Power washed, primed and painted the Berksdale pump house.
• De-winterized the drinking fountain at the Kingsdale cart shed.
• Serviced and did a seasonal start-up of all ice machines.

Lakes & Parks
• De-winterized the restrooms, hydrants, and drinking fountains at all of the pavilions and walking trails.
• De-winterized the Lake Avalon heated dock fish cleaning station and the Loch Lomond fish cleaning station.
• Installed a water pump and electrical to supply water on the gas dock for pontoon maintenance at the Loch Lomond marina.
• Checked all fasteners and power washed the playground equipment at the Tiree Park playground.
• Replaced the door at the Lake Avalon pavilion that had been vandalized.

Fire Department

• Made repairs to the sewer lift station and cleaned the drain lines at Fire Station #2.
• Relocated the filters on the furnace serving the lounge/living quarters at Fire Station #1 from within the unit to inside the room.

Police Department
• Replaced the water damaged ceiling tiles.

STREET DEPARTMENT
• Picked up and disposed of 55 items during the Spring 2012 white goods pickup.
• Completed tree and stump removal at the Kingdale grill and golf shop expansion.
• Finished dirt berm at the Highlands gun range.
• Finished work around entrance and edges of Lake Ann boat ramp.
